What the Figalli Certificate of Authenticity includes

Every certificate issued by Figalli is an official document confirming that the rug has been carefully examined, researched and verified by our in-house team of specialists. Each certificate records:

• Country and region of origin — for example Persia (Iran), Turkey, India or Turkmenistan
• Approximate date or century of weaving — verified through fibre analysis and stylistic assessment
• Material composition — such as wool, silk or metallic threads
• Weaving technique and structure — knot type, density and loom characteristics
• Design classification — regional style or artistic school (e.g. Mohtasham Kashan, Oushak, Kerman)
• Signature of the authenticating specialist and date
