This Yerevan rug shares the Gabistan design of the Shirvan rugs from Maraza, Azerbaijan. Human figures are depicted performing the jally dance at both ends of the rug. The navy-blue field of the carpet hosts four mihrab rectangles and two central geometric figures. The main area is filled with geometric figures and flowers, protected by five borders.
