1. Who is selling<\/h3>\n

2. What you are buying<\/h3>\n

Every piece we list is unique, antique, and sold as it is, exactly as described and photographed on its own page. A rug with decades \u2014 often more than a century \u2014 of use shows natural fading, irregular weaving, and old repairs. That is not damage: it is the nature of the piece, and it is set out in each listing and in the certificate of authenticity that travels with the rug.<\/p>\n

If anything in a description is unclear, ask before you buy. We will send additional high-resolution photographs of any detail you want to see.<\/p>\n

3. Price<\/h3>\n

Prices are shown in the currency of the listing and already include shipping to your address, anywhere in the world<\/strong>. Import duties and taxes are not included \u2014 see section 5.<\/p>\n

Every piece in the catalogue shows its price. If the piece you are interested in has no price on its page, write to us by WhatsApp or e-mail: we will quote that piece, valid for the date the quote is given.<\/p>\n

4. Payment and security<\/h3>\n

An order is confirmed once payment has been cleared.<\/p>\n

All traffic on this site is encrypted by an SSL\/TLS certificate, the standard used to protect the communication between your browser and the site.<\/p>\n

We do not store credit card details.<\/strong> Authorisation is handled directly by the payment processors, who are responsible for processing and holding that data.<\/p>\n

If the registration details and the payment details do not match, we contact you to confirm the information before approving the order.<\/p>\n

We never ask for a password, a card security code or a confirmation of your registration<\/strong> by e-mail or WhatsApp. If you receive a message of that kind in the name of Figalli, do not reply to it and write to us at contato@figalli.com.<\/p>\n

5. Shipping, delivery times, duties and import eligibility<\/h3>\n

We ship worldwide by DHL Express, door to door, insured for the declared value. Shipping is included in the price of the piece, anywhere in the world<\/strong> \u2014 there is no separate freight to pay. We prepare each piece and hand it to DHL Express within 5 business days of an order being confirmed; from there, DHL Express\u2019s transit time to your country applies. These times do not include customs clearance in your country, which varies and is outside our control.<\/p>\n

Import duties, customs fees and local taxes are the responsibility of the buyer. They are set by the authorities of the destination country and are not included in the price.<\/p>\n

Before you buy, please check that the piece may lawfully be imported into your country.<\/strong> Some countries restrict imports according to a rug’s country of origin. In particular, the United States restricts goods of Iranian origin<\/strong>, and that reaches many antique Persian rugs. Buyers in the United States should talk to us before ordering<\/strong> so we can confirm the origin of the specific piece and what it means for you.<\/p>\n

6. Cancelling, returns and refunds<\/h3>\n

You may cancel your purchase within 7 calendar days of receiving it, without giving a reason. The conditions, who pays the return freight and the refund timings are set out in Returns, exchanges and refunds<\/a>, which forms part of these terms. On international orders the return freight is paid by the buyer.<\/p>\n

7. Seeing the piece at home<\/h3>\n

Pieces can be sent to you to see at home before you decide. In that case a deposit is made for the full value of the rugs sent, and that deposit is not a sale<\/strong>: it is the guarantee that the pieces come back, and it is refunded in full when they do. If you keep one of the pieces, the deposit for that piece becomes its payment. The period is seven calendar days from delivery. The conditions are in How to buy<\/a>.<\/p>\n

8. What we guarantee<\/h3>\n

Our guarantee is one of authenticity and of condition as described, evidenced by the certificate that accompanies every piece. The detail is in Certificate of authenticity<\/a>, which forms part of these terms.<\/p>\n

9. Privacy<\/h3>\n

How we handle your personal data is described in our Privacy policy<\/a>.<\/p>\n

10. Changes<\/h3>\n

We may change these terms. The version that applies to your purchase is the one published on the date of your order; the date of the last update is at the top of this page.<\/p>\n

11. Governing law<\/h3>\n

These terms are governed by Brazilian law, and the courts of S\u00e3o Paulo, Brazil, have jurisdiction.
