How your rug travels<\/h2>\n

Each piece is professionally prepared, rolled, and protected, then dispatched fully insured via DHL Express<\/strong>, door to door. You receive a tracking number the moment your rug is on its way.<\/p>\n

Delivery time<\/h2>\n

We prepare your rug and hand it to DHL Express within 5 business days<\/strong> of your order being confirmed. From there, DHL Express\u2019s transit time to your country applies. Customs clearance in your country is not included in that estimate and is outside our control.<\/p>\n

Shipping is included in the price<\/h2>\n

Shipping is already included in the price of the piece, anywhere in the world.<\/strong> There is no separate freight charge at any point: the price you see is the price for the rug delivered to your address. Import duties and taxes are separate \u2014 see below.<\/p>\n

Fully insured, at no extra cost<\/h2>\n

Every shipment is insured for its declared value while in transit, at no extra cost to you. If a piece is lost or damaged on the way, we deal with the carrier and settle the claim \u2014 you are not left in the middle.<\/p>\n

Import duties & taxes<\/h2>\n

Import duties, customs fees, and local taxes are the responsibility of the buyer<\/strong> and are not included in the price. These charges are set by your country's customs authority and vary by destination.<\/p>\n

Customs & import eligibility<\/h2>\n

Buyers are responsible for confirming that a piece may be legally imported into their country. Some countries restrict imports based on a rug's country of origin. In particular, the United States currently restricts the import of goods of Iranian origin<\/strong>, which includes many antique Persian rugs. US buyers: please contact us before purchasing<\/strong> so we can confirm a specific piece's origin and eligibility.<\/p>\n
