Farahan Sarouk – West Persia

This magnificent Farahan Sarouk composes its intricate design in a noble palette of dark blue, gold and orangey beige. At the centre, an oval medallion adorned with floral and geometric detail rises in gold tones against the deep blue ground, which is itself finely worked with the classic herati lattice. The inner border continues the floral theme in the same palette, while the golden main border unfurls a stately meander of blossoms.
