This Malayer was made with lustrous and resistant wool, featuring subtle, mesmerizing, and repeating geometric patterns. The main field in red color is full of small diamonds, surrounded by the most varied geometric figures. On its border, it contains flowers surrounded by arabesques. Antique large rugs like this gallery are very rare to find today and were woven by commission in the late 19th and early 20th centuries.
