How your rug travels
Each piece is professionally prepared, rolled, and protected, then dispatched fully insured via DHL Express, door to door. You receive a tracking number the moment your rug is on its way.
Delivery time
We prepare your rug and hand it to DHL Express within 5 business days of your order being confirmed. From there, DHL Express’s transit time to your country applies. Customs clearance in your country is not included in that estimate and is outside our control.
Shipping is included in the price
Shipping is already included in the price of the piece, anywhere in the world. There is no separate freight charge at any point: the price you see is the price for the rug delivered to your address. Import duties and taxes are separate — see below.
Fully insured, at no extra cost
Every shipment is insured for its declared value while in transit, at no extra cost to you. If a piece is lost or damaged on the way, we deal with the carrier and settle the claim — you are not left in the middle.
Import duties & taxes
Import duties, customs fees, and local taxes are the responsibility of the buyer and are not included in the price. These charges are set by your country's customs authority and vary by destination.
Customs & import eligibility
Buyers are responsible for confirming that a piece may be legally imported into their country. Some countries restrict imports based on a rug's country of origin. In particular, the United States currently restricts the import of goods of Iranian origin, which includes many antique Persian rugs. US buyers: please contact us before purchasing so we can confirm a specific piece's origin and eligibility.
