Hashtrood – Northwest Persia

An antique Persian Hashtrood of vibrant colour and bold design. Its brick-red field carries grand geometric palmettes in denim blue, green and pink, accompanied by rose buttons and rectilinear floral branches; among them, S-shaped devices and stylized animals give the composition its village wit. The deep navy border, set with rosettes and ivory accents, frames the energy without taming it.
