A fine Tabriz inspired by the art of the Persian master Hadji Jallili, whose late 19th-century ateliers taught Persia that elegance whispers. Except for the most diminutive orange medallion at its centre, the entire carpet is covered in herati — the classic repeat of a flower framed within a lozenge, flanked by curved parallel leaves — drawn here as a garden lattice in ivory and camel, with rosettes of powder blue and coral. The deep indigo border, rich with palmettes, holds the lightness in a formal frame. The colour combination achieves what Hadji Jallili prized above all: softness without any loss of nobility.
